What does it cost to hire a marketing consultant?
Digitalenta has consultants at every price level, so the price is set per assignment based on role, seniority and scope. Get in touch and we will put together a proposal based on your need.
What is the difference between hiring a consultant and recruiting?
A consultant is engaged for a defined period without becoming your employee. Digitalenta has the employer responsibility. That gives fast access to skills for temporary needs, projects or vacancies. When you recruit, you instead employ the person permanently in your own organisation.
How quickly can Digitalenta place a consultant?
Digitalenta has an established network of subcontractors who can be in place within a few days when the need is urgent. For the best match and quality, Digitalenta normally runs a consultant recruitment, where you meet strong candidates within 1–2 weeks.
What is interim management?
Interim management means that an experienced manager or specialist steps in operationally for a limited time, during vacancies, change programmes or heavy workload. Digitalenta places interim consultants in marketing, martech and communications, often at short notice.
What is the difference between interim and a regular consultant?
Interim is an experienced manager or specialist who steps in and takes operational responsibility for a limited period, often in a leading role. A consultant strengthens the team with specialist skills in a project or an ongoing delivery. Digitalenta provides both in marketing and digital.
Can you try a consultant before hiring them (try and hire)?
Yes. With try and hire you engage a consultant and can then offer employment if the collaboration works. After six months of full-time assignment, the transfer is free of charge. If you want to hire earlier, a fee applies. You see the actual performance before you hire, which lowers the risk.
What types of consultants does Digitalenta provide?
Digitalenta provides consultants in marketing, martech, performance marketing, CRM, content and communications, from specialists to interim managers. The assignments are mainly interim and ongoing consultants at larger companies.
Who has the employer responsibility for the consultant?
Digitalenta is the consultant's employer during the assignment and is responsible for salary, insurance and contracts. You pay an ongoing fee and avoid the administrative employer responsibility, while the consultant works hands-on in your team.
What is the difference between a staffing consultant, a subcontractor and a freelancer?
A staffing consultant is employed by Digitalenta under a collective agreement with secure terms, and is placed with you during the assignment. A subcontractor and a freelancer are in practice the same thing: a consultant with matching specialist skills who is engaged for the assignment and invoices us. Freelancers and subcontractors are often faster to place and can be in place within a week or so, but the fee is usually higher than in the staffing set-up.
Does Digitalenta have a fixed bench of consultants?
No. We always start from your need, not from a bench of consultants that has to be kept busy. For each assignment we recruit and engage specifically against your requirements, with the right person and the right skills in the form that fits best, whether that is interim, staffing or someone from our consultant network. The focus is on meeting the need, not on filling a bench.
How long is a typical consultant assignment?
Digitalenta's consultant assignments are usually 4–12 months long, but there are examples of both shorter and longer ones. The period is adapted to the need and can often be extended.
What happens if the consultant is not working out in the assignment?
Then Digitalenta helps. First, our dedicated and experienced consultant managers work to solve the problem. If that is not enough, we find a replacement consultant. All assignments have a 30-day notice period, so you can also end the assignment.
